The Torch Doha
At 300 meters high with 360° panoramic views across Doha, THE TORCH DOHA addresses discerning travellers be they sports enthusiasts, business leaders or health and wellness seekers.
VERTICAL MOVEMENT (within buildings/venues)
- There are multiple stairs in the building/venue. The majority have a handrail on both sides to assist people that may have limited dexterity on one side
- The flight of stairs is long with no place to rest which could be tiring for some visitors.
- Some of the stairs do not have colour contrasting nosings which could be a hazard for people using mobility equipment
- Ramps and alternative stepped access are available for people using mobility equipment.
- The ramp has a handrail on both sides which is beneficial for people with limited dexterity
- The surface of the ramp is suitable for people using wheelchairs or mobility equipment
- The ramp is long with a steep gradient and no level landings to enable people to take a rest.
